I traded a 1986 Ford F-350 4X4 w/plow dump truck for a 34 pass. School Bus and constructed
this "Communications Command Post. This Van is designed to accommodate 5 operators at one
time and can handle more if needed. We have 18 transceivers on board and are an "Approved
US Coast Guard Aux. Radio Facility" and is also accepted by other public agencies as well
for assistance in communications if and when needed. My very FAVORITE projects include
Hamfests, Coffee Shops, B-B-Q's such as KC9GSK's next year and getting involved in events
such as Fox Hunting, Snowmobile, ATV, Marathons and other public events. Enjoy also
cooperating with public agencies to aid in search and rescue, drownings, lost persons, loss
of communications due to storms etc. and extensive "Bull Sessions & War Stories". All HAMS
ARE WELCOME (and encouraged) to enjoy this Facility with me.
