Getting Started With UI-View32

Station setup:
1 - Place your Call sign, Latitude, and longitude in the appropriate boxes.
2-  Unproto port is 1
3 - For fixed stations the Unproto address should be APRS,1-1  Or APRS,2-2 or APRS,3-3 depending on the number of stations and Digipeaters in your area. APRS,3-3 is best for remote areas.
4 - The Beacon comment is a short statement you want people to see when they look at your station.
5 - The Beacon interval should remain at 30 for Fixed and internet.
6 - Now select a Symbol that you want to show on the map for your location remembering that the symbol should be appropriate for your station.

 

UI-View (16 bit) V2.39 is not the newest version of UI-View.
UI-View32 V2.03 is newer. You want the 32 bit version.

 
This is just the beginning with more information to follow. I started with the Station setup because there is a lot of outdated information out there and this was one of the areas that needed to be addressed first.
